WELCOME TO 2023!
Kicking off the month of love, we had a mushroom walk. Yes, love covers many subjects, and this subject created a love for seeking Fungi! We couldn’t keep count of the variety we saw, but here are some that were so photogenic! Fungi are such an important part of our eco systems. Thank you to Cathy Sharp for taking us around and for the valuable knowledge you shared with us!
Following that we had our Valentines weekend which saw many romantic couples checking in and taking advantage of the special we had. There were even groups of friends treating themselves to a well-deserved break. It was a wonderful weekend. Thank you for choosing to share it with us
This was the weekend entailed;-
Itinerary — Saturday
11am-12pm Check in at Farmhouse Matopos
12.30 Depart with Black Rhino Safaris for half day safari
4.30.pm Return to Farmhouse & have a game drive on our property.
6pm Sunset Snacks & Champagne
7.30pm Dinner.
Sunday
8am Breakfast
9 am Hike on the property for anyone who would like it.
10-10.30am Check out
